 New ZebraCare™ Depot Service Agreements
Zebra’s new range of ZebraCare Service Agreements in EMEA is available from 4th May 2009 in EU countries.
These new ZebraCare service products offer you the opportunity to:
- Add revenue every time you sell a printer
- Achieve an annual stream of business
- Go back to existing printer customers to offer them services
- At no extra sales cost!
The benefits
- Improved discounts
- Price reduction for early purchase - 15% discount off the basic service option if purchased within one month of printer purchase
- Printer coverage – all current Zebra printers can be put under ZebraCare service coverage, including all tabletop, desktop and mobile barcode printers, PAX, card and kiosk printers
- Price Bands – all printers are in five easy-to-sell price bands
- Coverage starts when the contract is signed (you don’t have to wait for month 13)
- Payment is annual in advance (you had to pay the full contract fee in advance with the old ZebraCare)
- Reduced administration. Your customers may request RMAs (Return Materials Authorisation) directly from Zebra. We will look after the repair administration – any sales opportunities that arise will be directed back through you
- Local shipping addresses – wherever possible, to minimise freight costs, Zebra is using local addresses for the return of non-functioning printers
The Options
- Standard Depot Service Agreement
- Comprehensive Depot Service Agreement (which provides cover for printheads)
- Return to a Zebra designated facility
- Fixed Price Repair (for single event repairs)
Please note: A ZebraCare On-site Service will be available in selected countries late 2009, more information to follow.

Current ZebraCare Extended Warranty programmes will cease to be available for purchase from the 4th May. Existing contracts will continue to be fulfilled up to their expiry date.
